The armor that could bend

Rivet Rose tailored protective wear from elegant brass petals. A visitor loved the shining design but could not reach comfortably for a hug. Rivet studied the overlapping petals and changed one joint.

The armor bent without losing its shape. Its owner tried a stretch, a wave, and finally the waiting hug. Rivet kept the little adjustment in the pattern book. Protection should leave room for the things worth protecting.
