A LITTLE MASKIBOO STORY

The shadow that stood still

Moxie Masquerade taught shy shadows to dance. One shadow stayed close to the wall, even when the music became familiar. Moxie began with a tiny toe tap that could be done without leaving that comfortable place.

The shadow answered. A shoulder moved, then a hand. By the final song, the wall had its own cheerful little dance. Moxie counted it as a splendid performance.
